Police update 2: Dangerous driving offences at Rockhampton

Detectives investigating stolen vehicles which were allegedly driven dangerously through Rockhampton this week have arrested and charged a 29-year-old woman.

Around 9pm last night (May 26), officers from the Tactical Crime Squad attended a Randwick Street residence and located the woman allegedly hiding inside.

The woman was arrested and taken into custody.

Earlier this evening (May 27), the woman was charged with the following offences:

  • Robbery in company
  • Arson
  • Stealing
  • Unlicensed driving (SPER suspended)
  • Contravene requirement
  • Two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Four counts of possessing dangerous drugs
  • Three counts of unlawful possession of restricted drugs

The woman is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (May 28).
