Detectives are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into the death of a 27-year-old man in Maida Street at Lammermoor (Livingstone) on Friday, 22 August.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen a man and a woman in a white Holden Crewman ute around the bridge near Coorooman Creek Picnic Area in Cawarral, between 7.30am and 8.30am, to come forward.
Detectives urge anyone who has witnessed the vehicle, or has relevant vision or further information to contact police.
A man and woman were arrested following the incident and continue to assist police with their enquiries.
The man was charged for one unrelated offence, with the matter heard in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Saturday. He has been remanded in custody.
The woman was later released without charge however continues to assist police with their inquiries.
Investigations are continuing.
