Police update 3: Homicide, MacGregor

Police have charged two further men in relation to the death of MacGregor man Dr Luping Zheng on April 15.

A 19-year-old Kingston man was arrested around 11am at a home in Natalie Street, Slacks Creek.

A 20-year-old Woodridge man was taken into custody around 11.40am at a home in Victoria Street in Woodridge.

The 19-year-old has been charged with one count each of murder, enter dwelling with intent, attempted armed robbery, possess shortened firearms and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The 20-year-old has been charged with one count each of murder, enter dwelling with intent, attempted armed robbery and possess shortened firearms.

He is also due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A 17-year-old Slacks Creek boy was also earlier charged with one count each of murder, enter dwelling with intent, armed robbery, possession of shortened firearms and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The boy has been remanded in custody.

Officers were called to a house on Delfin Drive Around 11.40pm following reports that a man had been shot in a garage.

The 56-year-old was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but was pronounced deceased a short time later.
