Police update 3: Missing woman, Elanora

Police have charged a 30-year-old man with multiple domestic violence offences as the search continues for 61-year-old Wendy Sleeman, missing from Elanora since Tuesday (January 24).

The man was arrested in Brisbane's south shortly before 5pm yesterday afternoon (January 25).

He has been charged with three counts of contravention of domestic violence order, and one count each of unlawful stalking (DV), burglary (DV), assault occasioning bodily harm (DV), kidnapping (DV), attempted arson (DV), and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is expected to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today (January 26).

Detectives continue to search for a blue Honda Jazz hatch Queensland registration 952AT4 and appeal for members of the public to be on the look-out for the car and report any sightings to police.
