Police Update: Armed Robbery, Mango Hill

Police have charged a man after investigations into an armed robbery in Mango Hill in August.

Around 4.15pm on 16 August, police were called to reports of a man entering a business on Halpine Drive where it is alleged he was armed with a firearm and demanded cash from the employee before running from the scene with a quantity of money.

The employee was not injured.

A 29-year-old Upper Caboolture man was arrested and charged today, 10 September, with one count of armed robbery.

He has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on 11 September.

Detectives from the Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch thank the public for their assistance with the appeal for information.
