Police Update: Assault Appeal, Sippy Downs

Police are appealing to the public to identify two people who may be able to assist them with their investigation into a fire extinguisher being discharged at a vehicle at Sippy Downs on Sunday, June 15.

Police are investigating reports that two unknown people, riding an e-bike, discharged a fire extinguisher into the open back window of a Silver Suzuki Vitara that was stationary at traffic lights on High Street around 7.50pm.

The occupants of the vehicle, the 29-year-old male driver and 5-month-old child passenger, sustained minor injuries as a result of the discharge.

Police have confirmed the fire extinguisher used in the incident was stolen from a nearby car park on Courage Street, Sippy Downs earlier that night.

Police are appealing to anyone that recognise the two people in the vision to contact police.
