Police update: Burglary with violence, Wishart

A 26-year-old Wishart man has now been charged with numerous charges including: two counts of assault, deprivation of liberty, possessing a category D/H/R weapon, possessing a detachable magazine for a category D/H/R weapon, six counts of possessing drugs, possessing a drug utensil and possessing explosives.

Earlier: Detectives are investigating after the occupants of a Newnham Road, Wishart home were threatened by three males at around 9.45pm on November 1.

The males fled after conducting a quick search of the house. No one was physically injured.

Preliminary information indicates the trio were unknown to the occupants - two women, two men and a child.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident on November 1, or who may have relevant dash-cam or CCTV footage to contact them.
