Police update: Charges - Unlawful entries in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged two men in relation to an aggravated robbery in The Gap yesterday morning.

A 20-year-old male was charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated robbery
  • 1 x Trespass on premises
  • 1 x Unlawfully possess property

An 18-year-old male was charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated robbery
  • 1 x Trespass on premises
  • 1 x Unlawfully possess property
  • 1 x Possess a controlled weapon
  • 1 x Possess cannabis in a public place
  • 1 x Possess a thing to administer a dangerous drug

Both were remanded and will appear before Alice Springs Local Court today.

Detective Acting Sergeant Andrew Nicholson said, "Police continue to appeal for any further information in relation to a number of other property related offences committed in the area around the same time. If you have information, CCTV or dash cam footage, contact police on 131 444 and quote reference 9730715."
