Police update: Fatal pedestrian incident, Mount Gravatt East

An 83-year-old woman, who was struck during an incident at Mount Gravatt East on April 3, has died from her injuries.

Just after 10am, a 36-year-old man was reversing his vehicle out of a car park at Mount Gravatt Plaza Shopping Centre on Creek Road when an 83-year-old woman was struck and fell to the ground.

She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she was pronounced deceased early this morning.

Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for witnesses to assist with their investigation into the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash cam vision from the area to come forward.
