Police update: Homicide investigation at Bundaberg

Police investigating the death of a woman in Kepnock yesterday have charged a 16-year-old male with murder.

Around 8.50am, police responded to reports of a disturbance on Kepnock Road and located a woman with serious stab wounds.

The 36-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene.

A 16-year-old male is due to appear in Bundaberg Children’s Court on Monday.

Investigators are appealing for anyone on Kepnock Road near Kepnock State High School on Friday (November 30) between 7am and 9am, who may have witnessed something or has dashcam, to contact Policelink.
