Police have charged a 52-year-old man in relation to a homicide investigation following the death of a woman in Taigum on 23 August.
A 48-year-old Taigum woman was located around 12.30am at an Osprey Place address unresponsive and with significant stab wounds. The woman subsequently died at the scene.
Police have charged a 52-year-old McDowall man known to the woman with one count each of murder (domestic violence offence) and enter dwelling with intent.
He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 25 August.
There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
