Police update: Missing man at Mount Isa 30 December

Police continue to appeal for public assistance to locate 22-year-old man Tallis Ahfat missing from the Mount Isa area since mid-December.

Tallis has not been in contact with his family during this time, which is out of character for him, and concerns are held for his welfare.

Tallis suffers a medical condition for which he requires regular medication.

Tallis (pictured) is described as a First Nations man, about 170cm tall, proportionate build, dark curly hair with short back and sides.

He has a distinctive star tattoo under his left eye and an Indigenous flag on his left forearm.

Tallis was last seen wearing an orange, black and white polo shirt with black shorts and shoes and a maroon bucket hut.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
