Northern Territory Police have located a group who failed to return from a day trip yesterday.
The group were located at approximately 4:30pm, 20-30km southwest of Tennant Creek. They were travelling to Lake Surprise when they became bogged in their vehicle.
Travellers and visitors to Central Australia and the Barkly region are reminded to avoid travelling to remote areas during inclement weather, and always make sure someone knows of your departure and intended return times, and if in a situation where the vehicle cannot be driven, to always remain with the vehicle.
