Police update: Serious traffic crash and wounding, Caboolture South

Detectives have charged a man with the alleged attempted murder of three Queensland Police officers following a serious traffic crash and wounding incident at Caboolture South in March.

The 28-year-old man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, in addition to one count each of unlawful wounding and driving whilst disqualified.

The matter is due to be heard via videolink tomorrow (Tuesday, May 24).

The 37-year-old male senior constable who was driving the police vehicle is recovering and receiving ongoing medical treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.

The passengers, a 24-year-old male constable and a 23-year-old female constable, who recently graduated, have returned to duty.
