Police Update: Serious Traffic Crash, Bloomsbury

A 14-year-old boy has passed away in hospital following a serious traffic crash at Bloomsbury yesterday, 23 May.

About 2.30pm, a KTM motorbike and a white Toyota Hiace were travelling in opposite directions along Lindeman Drive when they collided.

The boy was airlifted to Townsville Hospital however passed away as a result of his injuries today, 24 May.

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have seen the motorbike or vehicle prior to the crash to come forward.
