Police update: Serious traffic crash. Narangba

A 22-year-old Griffin man has died following a serious traffic crash in Narangba on June 17.

Investigations suggest at approximately 2pm, two motorbikes were travelling east along Boundary Road.

One of the motorbikes has lost control and crashed into a red station wagon.

The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries and died this morning (July 14).

The driver and sole occupant of the station wagon, a 57-year-old woman, was not physically injured and is assisting police with their inquiries.

The second motorbike left the scene.

Investigations continue.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area to come forward.
