Police update: Sexual servitude and organised prostitution chargesin Brisbane

A 23-year-old woman will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today for her involvement in sexual servitude offences in 2019.

As a result of ongoing investigations by the Crime and Intelligence Command's Prostitution Enforcement Taskforce, the woman was issued with a Notice to appear for:

• Conducting a business involving servitude under the Commonwealth Criminal Code aggravated offence, victim under 18

• Conducting a business of unlawful prostitution under the Queensland Criminal Code

Several victims and witnesses have come forward as a result of media coverage and calls for public assistance, Police urge anyone with information to contact them.
