Detectives have released CCTV footage as part of their appeal to identify a man found deceased in the Maroochy River on November 30, 2023.
The vision shows the man attending a business in Maroochydore on November 27 and detectives now believe this is the same day he passed away. He is seen in the vision to be wearing the clothes he was discovered in.
Detectives have now deemed the death of the man not suspicious however continue to appeal for public assistance to help identify him.
Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV footage or has information to assist the identification process is urged to contact police.
