Police update: Traffic crash at Woodstock

A 69-year-old woman, a passenger in a single vehicle crash on November 13, passed away in Townsville Hospital this morning.

Preliminary information suggests that at around 2.40pm last Wednesday a truck towing a car trailer was travelling east along the Flinders Highway when it collided with a guard rail at Woodstock.

A 69-year-old woman from Roseneath sustained serious leg injuries. The driver, a 70-year-old Roseneath man was not injured.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to please contact police.
