Property Offences, Woodridge

Police have charged a 13-year-old boy in Woodridge in relation to multiple property offences.

Around 12pm, yesterday, 21 April, police were called to Birun Street and Wilbin Street, following reports two juveniles were entering backyards.

Officers attended the area and a boy fled on foot but was arrested a short time later.

He has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, one count each of receiving tainted property, wilful damage, stealing and obstructing a police officer.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Beenleigh Children's Court this morning.

A second 13-year-old boy remains outstanding and investigations are continuing.
