Provisional driver - high range drink driving

A 21-year-old Burnie man has been charged with a number of drink driving offences following a random vehicle intercept in Upper Burnie yesterday.

The man was a second year provisional licence holder and recorded a breath alcohol reading of 0.198.

As a result of the reading the man received an instant licence disqualification for a period of twelve months. He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
