PTC officers seize weapons during drug dog operation at Liverpool

Officers from the Police Transport Command seized weapons during a drug dog operation at Liverpool Railway Station yesterday.

On Thursday 20 June 2019, officers from the South/South West Transport Action Group conducted a high profile operation with the assistance of a drug detection dog.

The Operation was conducted between 2pm and 4pm with a total of eight people arrested for offences including possess prohibited drug (cannabis), possess prohibited weapon (knuckle dusters), custody of knife, armed with intent, hinder police, and malicious damage of police vehicle

Similar operations will be conducted across the transport network.
