Police are appealing to the public for help to locate five people they wish to speak with in relation to the assault and robbery of a man at Surfers Paradise on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
It will be alleged that around 6pm, a 44 year-old man was with four men and a woman at a Wahroonga Place unit when he was punched by one of the men causing him to lose consciousness.
When he woke, the five people were gone as were his iPhone 11, iPhone 10, iPad Air 2, USB speaker, wallet containing bank cards and some clothing items.
The man's bank-cards were subsequently used to make an illegal transfer of $2700 and fraudulently open various betting accounts.
