As the Bulleen Park Sporting Facilities redevelopment nears completion in 2027, an important step we are now planning for is the naming of several key features.
Naming the pavilions and ovals will make it easier for emergency services and users visiting Bulleen Park to find specific locations. Additionally, it will provide our community with a sense of pride and celebration of the new sporting features within the wider Bulleen Park location.
As part of this process we will engage with Geographic Names Victoria, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people and our local community to name the new features within Bulleen Park. This is a lengthy process and will take several months, with the names to be announced at the project's completion.
We are seeking inspiration from our community
We invite your input to capture what Bulleen Park means to you, your family, our community and/or your sporting club. Your input will then be used to inspire the future naming of the new Bulleen Park features.

The consultation will close at 5pm Thursday 20 August 2026, and forms an early step in the naming process, which we are aiming to finalise in time for the reopening of Bulleen Park in 2027.
