Public Safety Preservation Act declaration revoked at Rosewood

Queensland Police have revoked a PSPA following an incident at Rosewood.

Officers were called to a Blakes Road property on Friday afternoon to conduct a welfare check where the bodies of a 49-year-old man and 44-year-old woman were located inside.

Specialist officers have rendered a number of potential hazardous items identified within the home safe, resulting in the PSPA being revoked.

The incident has been finalised, however the property remains a crime scene as investigations continue.

The public are thanked for their cooperation and assistance.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
