Regional economic activity is continuing during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a multi-million-dollar acceleration of road upgrades and a blueprint for seasonal harvest workers, as one new case keeps the curve on a flat trajectory.
There are now 94 active cases, 934 recovered and six deaths for a total of 1034.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the figures were good news, and there was also important news about regional roads and agricultural production.
"We're getting on with regional road building projects with $185 million in State and Federal funding," Ms Palaszczuk said.
At the same time, the Government was providing clarity for the horticulture industry about managing an incoming workforce, particularly backpackers, for the picking season.
"We want to make sure that our seasonal workers are abiding by COVID-safe measures," the Premier said.
"So some great news today for regional Queensland, looking after our producers and also our regional roads."
The Minister for Agricultural Industry Development said the Palaszczuk Government always recognised agriculture as essential.
"We've been working with industry for many months leading up to this outcome," he said.

"We are loosening the stay at home restrictions to allow people to get out and about. It's going to be dependent on people taking that responsibility seriously," she said.
