Tourism and Events Queensland is launching the next phase of the $5 million ‘Queensland is Calling’ tourism campaign.
From tomorrow, any one of the millions of phones ringing in Australia and New Zealand could be Queensland calling with good news for family budgets.
Tourism and Events Queensland’s holiday partners are giving away five, cost-of-living easing Queensland getaways.
A dream Queensland holiday will be drawn each week over the next five weeks with Queensland calling to confirm the win.

Queensland branded phone booths are in central Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to remind holidaymakers to book a Queensland autumn or winter getaway.
Yesterday, Melbournians were given Queensland is Calling preview with three commuters winning a Luxury Escapes holiday package by answering a kerb-side phone when Queensland called.
By the end of June, Queensland is Calling is predicted generate almost 38 million visitor nights and $9 billion for Queensland’s visitor economy.
Tourism Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said:
“Queensland is Calling is about encouraging Australians and New Zealanders to visit Queensland for the Southern Hemisphere’s best autumn and winter getaways.

Queensland is Calling is part of our Towards Tourism 2032 roadmap to maximise this golden decade of tourism opportunity to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
