Queensland Police Seek Public Assistance in Surfers Paradise Assault

Detectives investigating the serious assault of a man in Surfers Paradise on September 2, have released CCTV footage of a man they believe could assist them with their inquiries.

Around 9pm, a fight reportedly broke out on Orchid Avenue between a group of men. A 26-year-old man was struck multiple times in the head by another man.

The victim was admitted to the GCUH suffering a broken left jaw and fractured vertebrae.

Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man or have any information that could help with the investigation to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
