A Forrest Beach woman is overcome with emotional tears of joy after discovering her winning ticket in Saturday's Gold Lotto draw.
The North Queenslander's lucky numbers secured her a life-changing $400,641.05 after $5.2 million jackpot was sliced thin among 13 winners in Saturday Lotto draw 4447 on 2 March, 2024.
“Oh, this has been the most incredible couple of days!” the winning woman exclaimed when an lotto official called to confirm her prize.
“I’ve been playing these numbers for almost two decades, and I can’t believe they were finally drawn.
“My daughter and I have been in tears since we discovered the win yesterday.
“I can’t stop crying!
“It’s going to make my transition to retirement incredibly easy, and it also means I can help my children more.
“What an incredible day. Thank you so much.”
Her winning marked 12-game entry was purchased online at the official website.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4447 on 2 March 2024 were 19, 15, 18, 30, 5 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 26.
