We are deeply concerned to hear about an incident involving a registered nurse who has been charged with COVID-19 vaccine fraud at a general practice in Western Australia, and we are providing support to the GP and practice team concerned.
The practice reported the matter to police immeaditely.
The WA Police are investigating, and we stand ready to support their investigation. We cannot comment about the details of the case while the investigations are ongoing.
GPs and practice teams across Australia are working incredibly hard to roll out COVID-19 vaccines to protect our community, and we thank them for their efforts. Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from this deadly virus.
