Racial, ethnic disparities in diabetic ketoacidosis readmissions at children's hospitals

About The Study: In this study including 72,000 pediatric encounters for diabetic ketoacidosis, the likelihood of hospital readmission within one year was significantly higher among non-Hispanic Black children compared with Hispanic and non-Hispanic white children with similar measures of neighborhood resources and conditions that influence health.
