RACV Invests in Victoria's EV Network 5 February

RACV

RACV first invested in EV charging nearly 10 years ago via the installation of some slow chargers in its Victorian Clubs and Resorts. In 2017 RACV became a significant shareholder in Chargefox, now Australia's largest charging network, and in 2022 became a major Shareholder in JET Charge, Australia's leading supplier of charging equipment.

Given increasing utilisation of RACV's first-generation ultra-rapid charging stations, RACV have committed to a significant upgrade of current charging stations, an increase in the number of these charging stations and are looking at a further expansion of RACV's public charging network.

These upgrades will commence in February 2024 and be completed by the middle of 2025.

All of the charging stations will be connected via the Chargefox App and become part of Australia's largest charging network, with over 1800 public plugs available to access across Australia and growing at over 90 per month.
