Re-appeal after fail-to-stop crash last year near Orange, NSW

Police are re-appealing for public information as they continue to investigate a fail-to-stop crash last year near Orange, NSW Police say.

About 2.30pm on Tuesday 2 May 2017, a 62-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle from behind as she was riding a bicycle east on The Escort Way, Borenore, about 14km from Orange.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render assistance to the injured woman.

She was taken to Orange Base Hospital with arm injuries and has since been released.

Crash Investigation Unit officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

In particular, investigators are urging anyone that sights a 1997-2001 model Holden Rodeo with damage to a passenger side mirror to contact police via Crime Stoppers.
