Real Pet Food Co. Raises Capital and Appoints New Executives

Following a successful $243m capital raise led by the Real Pet Food Company's (RPFC) existing investors New Hope Group, Temasek and Hosen Capital, RPFC has announced new executive appointments and launched its next generation growth roadmap.

This growth roadmap will see the Company accelerate its leadership in fresher pet nutrition from affordable all natural brands to unprocessed, raw and human grade ultra-premium nutrition – some of the fastest growing segments of pet nutrition across APAC.

RPFC is one of the world's top three producers of chilled and frozen pet food. It operates in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia.

The new executive team will see former CEO, David Grant transition to the Company' Board while Germaine Chua steps into the role of CEO. Ms Chua has worked alongside Mr Grant since 2015 and has helped shape and drive the business across all markets. She has more than 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector and was most recently the Chief Commercial Officer for RPFC.

Joseph Dalo has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Alexis Poole, Chief Financial Officer. Mr Dalo has been with the Company since 2018 and has more than 25 years of operational leadership experience in food manufacturing and logistics, while Ms Poole has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in the FMCG sector and was most recently the Regional CFO of Reckitt Hygiene ANZ.
