The rebel Female Football Week is one of the highlights of the year and the perfect way to celebrate women in football and the huge role they play at all levels of the game.
And the initiative is being recognised right around the country, with every Member Federation doing their bit to acknowledge the incredible contribution to the game in Australia.
Here’s a rundown of the activities being run around Australia for rebel Female Football Week.
A Female Football Festival is being held on Saturday, March 14 at the Darebin International Sports Centre.
The full day event begins at 7.15am with a Women in Football Breakfast with a range of activities to be staged throughout the day.
They include forums for coaches and referees, female only skills training courses, friendly matches for U8s through to U13s, a skills acquisition program and walking football.
