Record Numbers at the NT Muster Promoting the Territory as the Premier Destination for Aboriginal Arts and Culture

Hundreds of travel agents in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney are being targeted at the NT Muster roadshow with the message the NT is the premier destination for Aboriginal arts and culture.

The Territorys rich art and culture is a major drawcard for national and international tourists and a key economic driver. The Territory Labor Government is investing $106 million to build a nationally significant Arts Trail throughout the Territory to support and grow our arts and cultural industry and provide new and enhanced attractions for national and international visitors.

The NT Muster provides the opportunity to present the progress of the Territory Labor Governments record $103 million Turbocharging Tourism package which is bringing thousands more visitors to the Territory, injecting millions of dollars into the economy and creating local jobs.

At the NT Muster, over 500 travel agents, inbound tour operators and wholesalers will learn more about what the Territory has to offer equipping them with the knowledge and skills to better sell the NT as a holiday destination to their clients. For the 34 NT operators, it is a perfect opportunity to showcase their tourism offerings and learn how to best market and sell their products.

The NT Muster roadshow commences in Brisbane tomorrow, moves to Melbourne on 6 March and onto Sydney on 7 March.
