Campaspe Shire Council has recognised the outstanding achievements, leadership and community contributions of young people from across the region at the inaugural Campaspe Youth Awards.
The awards program was developed to celebrate young people aged 12 to 25 who are making a positive difference through leadership, community service, sustainability, creativity, inclusion and innovation.
Deputy Mayor Tony Marwood said the awards highlighted the incredible talent, passion and dedication of young people across Campaspe.
"The Campaspe Youth Awards are an opportunity to celebrate young people who are leading by example, giving back to their communities and creating positive change," Cr Marwood said.
"Every nominee demonstrated remarkable commitment, resilience and initiative. Their achievements show that our young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but are making a difference today."
"This year's recipients have excelled across a diverse range of areas, including leadership, community service, environmental action, arts and culture, entrepreneurship, and diversity and inclusion. We are proud to recognise their achievements and the positive impact they are making across our region."
The awards were presented at an event on Friday 14 August at the Echuca Racecourse where recipients enjoyed the celebrations with dinner, dance and musical performances by the Njernda dance group, Matilda Altoft and newly formed local band Unnamed

Excellence in Leadership (12-17 years) - Sponsored by Rich River Golf Club
Charley Schwencke, recognised for her outstanding leadership in soccer and her commitment to mentoring younger players through programs including Mini Roos and Mini Tillies.
Excellence in Leadership (18-25 years) - Sponsored by Committee for Echuca Moama
Eden Beaumont, recognised for demonstrating leadership, resilience and initiative through public speaking, community involvement and self-directed learning.
Excellence in Community Impact (12-17 years) - Sponsored by Rich River Golf Club
Malik Day-Kennedy, recognised for his volunteer contributions, youth advocacy and commitment to supporting Aboriginal community initiatives and events.
Excellence in Community Impact (18-25 years) - Sponsored by Coolabah Turf
Belinda Threlfall, recognised for her dedication to supporting community members through volunteer work and leadership of local initiatives.
Excellence in Environmental Sustainability (12-17 years) - Sponsored by Youth Affairs Council Victoria
Beau Shotton Worlley, recognised for his continued efforts to reduce litter, promote recycling and protect local waterways through practical action.

Riley Stewart, recognised for using entrepreneurial skills to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis Australia through a community car wash initiative and ongoing business donations.
Excellence in Arts and Culture (12-17 years) - Sponsored by Commonwealth Bank
Lily Horton, recognised for her achievements in visual arts and calisthenics, and for enriching the community through her creative talents.
Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion (12-17 years) - Sponsored by Mawsons
Luca Micalizzi, recognised for promoting cultural inclusion, supporting new students and helping create a stronger sense of belonging within the school community.
Youth Peer Recognition Award - Sponsored by Echuca Toyota
Rylie Stewart, recognised for using his car detailing business to support Multiple Sclerosis Australia, raise awareness of MS and create opportunities for other young people.
Cr Marwood said the awards were made possible through the support of local sponsors and community partners who share a commitment to empowering young people.
"By recognising and celebrating these achievements, we hope to inspire more young people to pursue their passions, contribute to their communities and reach their full potential," he said.
