Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Red Hill, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a car had been travelling along White Hill Road, about 150m from Arthurs Seat Road, when it lost control and struck a tree about 10.50pm last night (29 September).
The male driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Whitehill Road is currently closed between Arthurs Seat Road and Sheehans Road.
Police are yet to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
