After welcoming 2 million guests in 2022 and contributing more than $83 million in economic value to regional NSW communities, Reflections Holiday Parks has published its first report card since launching the group's 2030 Strategic Plan in May this year.
Reflections Holiday Parks is one of the largest accommodation providers in Australia, caring for 36 of nature's holiday parks and 43 Crown nature reserves across the state. With a focus on encouraging its 2 million guests to explore and spend within regional communities, Reflections supported small businesses doing it tough from the impacts of Covid-19 and was a part of the state's economic recovery during this time.
Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Nick Baker said 2022 was a year of achievements for the group which, in a first for holiday park providers in Australia, also attained official certification as a Social Enterprise Organisation. "Being a recognised as a Social Enterprise Organisation gives our guests confidence that they are supporting sustainable, ethical travel and care for the environment when they stay with us," Mr Baker said.
"We are not like any other holiday park in Australia. We measure the social and environmental good we do for communities through a quadruple bottom line approach to business and a unique profit-for-purpose model with profits reinvested back into our parks and community reserves.
"Our holiday parks and reserves span across 22,954 acres This is equivalent to around 17,359 AFL fields and we take immense pride in caring for these parks and their surrounding communities." "This year, we invested almost $17 million in park developments and upgrades to grow regional NSW tourism. We provided more holiday options through 19 new cabins, tiny houses and glamping tents and 52 new powered camping sites. We will continue to grow and diversity our accommodation mix in 2023, with a further investment of almost $35 million planned in park upgrades and 80 new exciting accommodation opportunities.

Minister for Lands and Water Kevin Anderson said the Reflections Year in Review 2022 showed incredible progress towards the group's goals to enhance guest experiences, showcase regional NSW and support local towns, businesses and economies."
"With the capacity to look after 20,000 guests a night, Reflections Holiday Parks are the gateway to regional NSW treasures," Mr Anderson said.
