Registrations are now open for the Bayside Garage Sale Trail to be held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October, 2019. Register now to be one of the first 1250 sellers and receive a FREE printed seller pack of posters, letterbox slips, price tags and bunting to use at your garage sale. All sellers can also download digital versions of all the promotion materials from the Garage Sale Trail website to help make your sale a success.

De-clutter your home, help your friends and neighbours choose to reuse, and stop your unwanted items going to landfill. Get together with your neighbours and plan a street sale. Or talk to your children's school or community group and hold a stall to fundraise.

What is Garage Sale Trail?

Garage Sale Trail is Australia's biggest weekend of garage sales. It's happening on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2019.

You don't need to have a garage, just set up in your front yard or join in with your neighbours.

How does it work?

Residents interested in organising and hosting a sale on the weekend can register their interest now at garagesaletrail.com.au. You'll be notified when registrations open in August and be invited to list your garage sale event on the website. Participants get access to handy resources, tips and guides to make their sale a success, all provided for free.

Thanks to the support of Bayside City Council the event is free for residents.

Why is council involved?

Garage Sale Trail is one of a number of council initiatives designed to reduce waste to landfill. Neighbours and community also get to know each other by re-using and re-homing quality unwanted items.
