Dept of Climate Change, Energy, Environment & Water

Our Youth Advisory Council on International Climate Change is hosting its first youth climate workshop on Monday 3 November 2025.

The workshop is open to everyone aged 18 to 30 with an interest in climate change. Students, professionals, activists, and community members from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend to talk about:

  • what climate change means to you
  • what governments should do to act on climate change
  • the outcomes you want to see from COP30.

It offers an opportunity to amplify youth voices ahead of the COP30 Conference, which will be held from November 10 to 21, 2025, in Belém, Brazil.

Members of the council will attend the international summit, using the insights and ideas gathered from the workshop to influence global climate outcomes.
