Council is reminding Delegate residents and property owners that, as of October 2025, charges now apply for residential and business water usage for all properties connected to the Delegate town water supply.

What you need to know

  • The new Delegate Water Treatment Plant is officially up and running
  • Charges now apply for the water that you use
  • Every 1000 litres of water used will cost you $3.89
  • You'll receive your first bill in early March 2026
  • Water billing is calculated from the day your water meter was read in October 2025

Council has created an information portal to help Delegate residents, property owners, and businesses understand what these changes mean for them, their property, and their water usage.

Visit https://qrco.de/DelegateWaterBilling today to access a wide range of information about Delegate water, the new treatment plant, and water billing changes.

The portal includes a water bill estimation calculator to help the community get a sense of their potential water charges when the first bills are issued in March 2026.

Council has also collated resources to help residents, property owners, and businesses to reduce their water usage and save money on their water bills.
