Replica gun and drugs seized at a club in Darlinghurst.

Police have charged a man after he was allegedly found in possession of a replica pistol and drugs in a licensed premise in Kings Cross last night, NSW Police say.

About 9:30pm today, police were called to a business on Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross, after a man allegedly pulled a replica pistol from his pants and pointed it at several staff and patrons.

The man was restrained by security until police arrived.

Officers from Kings Cross Local Area Command attended and a 23-year old man was arrested.

Police searched the man locating 13 amphetamine capsules and cash in his possession.

The man was taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was charged with armed with intention to commit a serious indictable offences, illegal firearms possession, serious assaults, supplying drugs and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

He was also served with a long term banning order from the Kings Cross precinct.

The man was bail refused to appear before Parramatta Local Court tomorrow.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
