Residents Invited To Help Plant 3,000 Trees For National Tree Day

Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is committed to transforming local parks and ensuring a brighter, greener future by planting more than 3,000 trees in honour of National Tree Day.

The Region's residents are being encouraged to put their best green thumb forward and get involved in this year's tree planting event at Black Gully Park on Saturday 11 October, 2025.

Parks and Recreation Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Tim McMahon said National Tree Day offers residents a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature and engage in important conservation efforts.
