Ride-share driver charged with sexual touching - Kellyville

A man will face court today charged with sexual touching following an alleged incident in Sydney's north-west last month.

It will be alleged that 31-year-old woman was a passenger in a ride-share vehicle at Kellyville about 11:50pm on Thursday 25 March 2021, when the male driver has placed her hand on his genital area.

The woman left the vehicle and the matter was reported to officers from The Hills Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, officers arrested a man when he attended Castle Hill Police Station on Friday 26 March 2021.

The 32-year-old man, from Acacia Gardens, was charged with incite another to sexually touch them without consent.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 15 April 2021).
