Rider Dies After Collision In Albion

Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision in Albion earlier this month, which has now turned fatal.

Emergency services were called to reports a car and motorcycle collided at the intersection of Ballarat Road and Adelaide Street about 11.20pm on Friday, 5 December.

The rider, a 29-year-old Doncaster man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man from Hillside, was not injured and stopped at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the collision.
