Rider Dies After Crash - South West Rocks

A motorcycle rider has died after crashing on the state's Mid North Coast this afternoon.

About 5pm (Sunday 5 April 2026), emergency services were called to Gregory Street, near Spencers Creek Road, South West Rocks, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command attended and found that a rider had crashed on the road before becoming trapped under a nearby vehicle.

Emergency services worked to free the rider before he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for critical injuries; however, he died at the scene.

The man is yet to be formally identified.

Police have established a crime scene, with officers attached to Crash Investigation Unit commencing inquiries into the cause of the crash.
