Cairns Regional Council advises of the following road closures associated with Carnival on Collins on Sunday 1 September from 5am to 6pm.
- Collins Avenue: Between McLean Street and Mayers Street
- McCormack Street: Between Collins Avenue and Walsh Street
- Goodwin Street: Between McCormack Street and MacDonnell Street
- Friend Street: Between Collins Avenue and Walsh Street
Residents and traders are asked to observe and obey traffic controllers and signs advising the changes to normal traffic conditions, and follow detours as sign posted.
Council appreciates the cooperation of road users and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
