Yarra City Council
At the Council meeting held on Tuesday the 16th of December at Fitzroy Town Hall, after considering the results of the community consultation on the matter, Council resolved to assign the name "Bagunnga Lane" to the laneway off Fenwick Street in Carlton North.
In considering this naming proposal, Council has been guided by its own policy and the State Government's Guidelines for Geographic Names.
The naming proposal will be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion in VICNAMES.
