Police are investigating a robbery with violence at a licenced premise in Caboolture on 9 May.
Initial investigations indicate at 10.30pm, a group of three people stole money from a 31-year-old man at the Aerodrome Road premise before attempting to flee the scene on foot.
The man confronted the group at a carpark a short time later, before he was assaulted and sustained a stab wound to his neck.
He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The group fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
A crime scene was declared, and investigations are ongoing.
